Description

A hoúror almari is a cabinet used to store clothing and valuable materials, including documents.

It is one of the furniture items traditionally given to a Rohingya groom as a wedding gift from the bride’s family to set up the new couple. Not all families are able to gift a hoúror almari since it is very expensive to make.

This scale miniature hoúror almari has a straight mirror for the bride to dress and do her make up. It has five compartments, including one drawer.
