Je kono jaigat paiba bala kamor bala dam (Good deeds have value wherever you go) is a Tarana song, performed in the Rohingya camps for the RCMC by Rohingya musician Mohammad Taher.

Taranas are sad songs and are used as a way for people to express lamentation. They are intended as catharsis for individuals and the community and can include a range of themes, from personal ones to religious and social ones to political ones. Recent Taranas are mostly about the situation in Myanmar, the stresses of camp life and the longing for a lost home. Taranas were called ‘Kobita Gan’ until about 50 years ago when the name was changed.
