Inauguration of ‘Mini RCMC’ at IOM’s MHPSS Centre

Cox’s Bazar, 15 October 2024: The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has inaugurated the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) One-stop Service Centre in the world’s largest refugee settlement in Cox’s Bazar. This centre will offer the Rohingya refugee community a comprehensive range of mental health, psychosocial, protection, and health services.

The Rohingya Cultural Memory Centre (RCMC) is delighted to showcase the vibrant heritage of the Rohingya community through the established ‘Mini RCMC’ at IOM’s MHPSS Centre, the one-stop service centre of Camp 20 Extension. Rohingya cultural objects are on display at the centre, where community members lead guided tours, masterclasses, cultural education workshops, and other community-based creative activities.
