This is a portrait of Omal Khair, a Rohingya photographer. It was painted by Farzana Ahmed Urmi, a Bangladeshi artist-in-residence for the RCMC.

Omal Khair, a woman Rohingya photographer, uses her creative skills to represent the life in the camps to the world through her Instagram and other social media channels. Inspired by her elder sister, Shahida Win, she took a photography assignment from an NGO. She got motivated by the outcomes and continues to practice take pictures as they document truths and life stories in pixels. Her photographs are posted at RCMC Instagram handle.
