Description

Dail is a lentil soup, that can be made from many different kinds of lentil but is most commonly made from masoor dail which is a salmon-coloured round lentil. Rohingya people do not cook dail on a daily basis, but occasionally they like to have dail with plain white rice or luri fira (rice flour flatbread). Food doesn’t have to be complex to be delicious and dail is the best example of that.
