Aata dula is a multipurpose handbasket. Rohingya women use aata dula to collect and transport vegetables from the garden. Fishermen use aata dula to store and transport their catch. When the aata dula is loosely woven, the basket can function as both a carrying repository and colander. Aata dula are common in rural Arakan.
