Soloir bañsho is a traditional Rohingya basket used for rinsing rice and items. In rural Arakan, Rohingya women and girls would go together in the evening to rinse the rice in the freshwater of the nearby rivers, ponds or lakes. Today, these baskets have mostly been replaced with plastic or metal colanders. Soloin bañsho can vary in size based on the user's needs.
