Jonomdukkhi ami ekjona (I am forever miserable) is a Ma’rifati song, performed in the Rohingya camps for the RCMC by Rohingya musician Mustafa Khatun.

Ma’rifati songs are about spiritual truths which are accessed through form or through the body. They address the supernatural, the transcendent and the miraculous in how these can be discovered in our bodily experience. In other words, they are songs about how to use the body and sense experiences to unlock deeper wisdom. These songs come from a Sufi heritage.
