The Rohingya community enjoy eating a lot of fish. In Myanmar, the men would catch fish from ponds and rivers and bring them home for the women to cook with traditional herbs and spices. At the camp, they still eat fish but since it is not freshly caught like it was in Myanmar the taste is different. This project helped the women recall the fish they used to eat in Myanmar. Jannat Ara drew a fish with bulging eyes. This fish could be found in the rivers of Myanmar but since there are no canals or rivers at the camp, the fish is bought from the market. This fish is more easily available in Myanmar than in Bangladesh. It is very tasty but has a lot of bones.
