Hossa is a flail, an agricultural tool used for threshing. Rohingya farmers use hossa to thresh crops such as rice paddy and black bean. This tool is very simple and easy to make: a long wooden stick whittled into the shape of a hockey stick, with the curved end tapering to a sharp point.
