This project was made during the COVID lockdown. Since the art facilitator could not go to the camp and supervise the Rohingya women, they were asked to document what they saw inside the house. So the women decided to document insects. Rohingya women have superstitious beliefs regarding some insects, such as they believe cockroaches bring wealth to the house they occupy so they do not kill them. Shobika embroidered cockroaches. Rohingyas believe that cockroaches are lucky and everyone likes them because they believe cockroaches bring wealth. There were a lot of cockroaches at Shobika❜s house in Myanmar but in camp, there are fewer.
