Md. Ekram Hossein

Ekram Hossen is a carpenter, who fell in love with the magic of woodwork since childhood when he used to see his father, a renowned carpenter work. He spent his entire life shaping wood and can now imitiate anything on wood, once he sees it. In Arakan, he specialised in making furniture, doors and entire duplex houses out of wood. At the camp, he has contributed to the RCMC collection by making scaled models of totta ghor (traditional Rohingya house), asmali (wardrobe) and naw (boats).
