Doior aanree is a clay pot used to make yoghurt.  Traditionally, yoghurt is made by Rohingya farmers at home and preserved in doior aanree wrapped with banana leaves. 

To make a new batch of yoghurt, lukewarm milk is poured into the doior aanree, with a few teaspoons of pre- made yoghurt and left at room temperature overnight. The yoghurt will be ready to eat the next day. Doior aanree can be discarded after a single use or reused.
