An almari is a wardrobe or cupboard. It is one of the furniture items traditionally given to a Rohingya groom as a wedding gift from the bride’s family to set up the new couple. This scale miniature almari stands on legs, has three sections with doored cabinets and drawers, and is decorated with carvings. The middle section juts out.
