Dunfirar bocci is a small earthenware lid or mould used to prepare steamed rice cakes, which are a popular snack during Arakan winters.

Dun fira are rice cakes made with coconut and molasses. They are placed on a foin or earthenware steamer, over a pot of boiling water. The rice cakes are then covered with the dufirar bocci to steam cook.
