Duloin is a baby cradle and must-have item for every Rohingya household. Usually, the Rohingya grandparents are expected to welcome the newborns with a gift of duloin.  It can be made of wood, cane, bamboo or even nets. Cane duloins are cheap and easily available in the market, while the relatively expensive wooden duloins are made by craftsmen on request. The cot of the duloin can be oval or rectangular in shape, and three to five feet long. It is hung from the ceiling.
