This is a portrait of Morijan, a Rohingya embroidery artisan for the RCMC. It was painted by Farzana Ahmed Urmi, a Bangladeshi artist-in-residence for the RCMC.

Morijan mastered the craft of fultola (embroidery), enough to be self-dependent. Learning quality embroidery in the camp, she has worked on several projects of RCMC. She often teaches embroidery to her women friends as she found the world of creativity inspiring and empowering.
