This is a portrait of Moriam, a Rohingya embroidery artisan for the RCMC. It was painted by Farzana Ahmed Urmi, a Bangladeshi artist-in-residence for the RCMC.

Moriam, an embroidery artisan by profession, is an imaginative and creative Rohingya woman. She learnt embroidery after joining RCMC. Her artworks depict her unique world with colors, threads, and stories.
