Description
This project was made during the COVID lockdown. Since the art facilitator could not go to the camp and supervise the Rohingya women, they were asked to document what they saw inside the house. So the women decided to document insects. Rohingya women have superstitious beliefs regarding some insects, such as they believe cockroaches bring wealth to the house they occupy so they do not kill them. Sara Khatun drew a caterpillar eating a leaf. She likes to watch the insect spin webs while eating the leaves. It can be found in Myanmar as well as in Bangladesh.
