Description
It is a brass water pot given to Solima Khatun (120) as a wedding gift by her parents. It is likely that the pot was made for the occasion and must be over 100 years old. Lota is used to wash oneself with water for shower, for hygiene after nature❜s call, for ablution, etc. Solima❜s lota is over one kilogram. She, however, fled with it all the six times she became a refugee in Bangladesh in 1942, 1944, 1956, 1978, 1991, and 2017. ?When I die, wash me with this lota❜, Solima urges her daughters. The item is with Solima Khatun.
