This project was made during the COVID lockdown. Since the art facilitator could not go to the camp and supervise the Rohingya women, they were asked to document what they saw inside the house. So the women decided to document insects. Rohingya women have superstitious beliefs regarding some insects, such as they believe cockroaches bring wealth to the house they occupy so they do not kill them. Shamsun Nahar drew a butterfly. She would often see butterflies flying around flowers in her garden at Myanmar. But since there are no flowers at the camp she does not see any butterflies here.
