This project was made during the COVID lockdown. Since the art facilitator could not go to the camp and supervise the Rohingya women, they were asked to document what they saw inside the house. So the women decided to document insects. Rohingya women have superstitious beliefs regarding some insects, such as they believe cockroaches bring wealth to the house they occupy so they do not kill them. Shomjida embroidered a butterfly. She likes to watch the butterflies that sit on creeper flowers around her house. The butterflies she sees in Myanmar are almost the same as the ones in Bangladesh.
