paddy carrying pole
Fuoñsha is a carrying pole or yoke, usually made of wood. Rohingya farmers use fuoñsha to manually transport sheaves of paddy, wheat or long grass. Unlike the bok, the fuoñsha is tapered at both ends. Bundles of equal weight are tied to opposite ends, and then the fuoñsha is balanced on the shoulder. It costs 2,000 Myanmar kyats ($1.50 USD).
