Potter

Kulsuma Khatun is a potter who learnt to make clay objects after marrying her husband Zawkir Ahmed. Together the couple used traditional Rohingya techniques and forms that have remained unchanged for centuries, to make simple household items. Now at the camp, Kulsuma continues to make pottery items for the RCMC collection; she crafts the vessel❜s lower half while her husband crafts the upper lip.
